Fire Update
Jo-Anns is closed until further notice. Apparently the city of Poway up through Pomerado Road has been ordered to evacuate- which is right where I work. I hope everyone is ok!
The rest of my classes were cancelled today. I have yet to find out if the campus will be open tomorrow or not. The air wasn't too bad at school, but they sky was pretty gray with just a bit of a blue right at the zeinth, and you could definetly smell the smoke, though it wasn't as bad as it was yesterday in Poway.
Still don't know if I teach today or not. Gave my teacher a call, but haven't heard back yet. From checking on the Sweetwater Union School District page, it appears that all schools in the county are closed tomorrow, so there's a good chance that there is no band practice today.
