Patrick's shortstop on the little league all star team. They've won the last couple of days and every time they do there's another game the very next day. Yesterday, his Birthday party had to be moved earlier for the game...which they won! So today they're going to "the ship" (the championship game or games).

fffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

I don't want to be on-call today. I want to not be sick and to go for a bike ride, after I lie (I hate the word lay) in bed for half the day watching movies or reading.

I don't want to get dressed today. No one's going to be home...finally. The boy's went to the game and I'm about to drop my mom at work.

It's only because I'm on-call that I'm awake (okay and I'm sick and have trouble sleeping). But the thought of that stupid thing going off and when's rig check? makes it impossible for me to fall back asleep comfortably. But crew 2 had been doing rig check at noon for over a year and when asked my new crew hasn't said an actual time, it seems as though nancy taylor just likes getting up at dawn and doing it herself. Last time I went over some time after 11 am and it was done already, so I'm not even bothering today. Whoever wants to do it before me can, I'll stop in later and do it if it's not done yet. And if that pager goes off, then I'm putting my jumpsuit over my pjs! (no bra required). I'm always on-call on the most inconvenient of days. And I do like everyone and thing at the corps but I think I've taken and given all I can get at this point in time. I'm off to college again by the end of August and I won't be home half as much as last year.

:/meharrrgghhhh

I'm a fucking pirate. (drive-in last night to see pirates of the carribean was fun...dan,steve o, and anna came up.yay. and sue had her mom;s convertable=fun.)West mili diner afterwards w/ disco fries a plus. Late sleep, early wake=notso fun.

ps. I went to rig check around 10:15...they were practically done. Nancy(emt) had been there at 9 and jackie(covering extra driver naomi)and ray (driver/emt)were going out for a drive in the rig since ray won't be there later. He asked if I was a driver. hahaha. I told him I could barely drive a car (okay not true...said I hit into things a lot, which is true w/ the car somewhat). I've never hit anything with the truck...I'm better with big vehicles because I pay more attention when parking and baking up and stuff and little cars suck. I think I could drive a rig. Why do a sell myself short so much now? Note to self...stop doing that!
