(no subject)
i got a new car! well, used. but you know what i'm saying. after 7 years of driving the sunfire, alas, she's been given up on. i want to not die at stop signs after driving over ten miles. it's no fun.
so what did i get, you ask? i am now the proud owner of a bronze 2003 ford focus. she's the cutest little thing with power locks and windows (which the sunfire was not equipped with), and one of those booper alarm keypad things. and a radio with a huge screen that not only tells me what song is playing and by what artist, but the names of the stations i have programmed in are next to their buttons, and each station has their own cool little way of having their name. not only all that, but she's a speedy little one. i have to watch myself because it's so easy to speed, where in the sunfire it took some effort to get her up to 40. i will miss her, but she's 12 years old now and obviously on her last leg. there was no point in putting more money into her. and she made for a surprisingly good trade-in at $1000.
but anyway, yeah. that's how i spent my day. and don't worry... i oughta have pictures for you tomorrow. they may be a couple different picture posts, as i still have a ton of pix from the zoo or whatever to post. and i don't think i've posted the ones from the dam.
OH! and i weighed myself at my folks' today, per tradition. down to 158. damn, it feels good to be a gangsta. :D
