Gah. Yesterday my old middle and elementary school got out all day because of a stupid gas leak. But when the high school has a fire or two, or the smell of really strong desel (however you spell it) and gas leaks, we don't get out. Go figure. They will prolly be out today too! Which sucks, because my sisters wont have to go, and I do. Gah..
Anywho, WE WON!! On Monday, we played Madison Southern Eagles and beat them!! Haha. It was so funny! There were signs posted around the school with a colt bucking (our mascot is a colt) and this tiny bird/eagle thing. The colt was stomping it. It was cute. And then, at the game, they had a realy sad student section. Like really sad. They had at the most 6 people chanting through out the game and even cheering. You couldn't even hear them! Wait-- my bad. You could hear them once at the very start of the game chanting "We can't hear you!" Which was gay, because the game had just started and we were getting 'warmed up'. :] Oh and they were the Eagles, so guess what they were doing? Yeah, that little Eagle flying thing that Terrell Owens and the rest of the Philly Eagles do when they play the Cowboys and some other teams. It was funny because they only had like two people doing. So then we started to do that. We had over a 100 people in our student section, and the band (all students), and we were doing that! It was hilarious. We ended up winning 61-48 or something like that. So now we are playing on Friday at EKU, against Bryan Station or something like that. But I won't be able to go... Guess why!
I'M GOING TO NEW YORK!!! Now don't get excited. I'm not going to the city or anything, but I get to miss like 5 days of school. Which is great! I can't wait!!! We are leaving on Friday, if we go!!
Anyways, but back to the whole game thing. Rachel gave me a ride to the game, but we had to go early because she is in the band and had to practice/warm up or whatever. So we were all standing in Mr. Page's office, for some reason, and guess who walks out from the room next door. Josh!!! Except, he was like "Kaitlyn! What are you doing here? Why are you here? Go away" or something like that (he was just playing, I think. I hope) and then Mr Page noticed me. He is trying to get me to join band now. Saying I would be a good trombone or sax player. I'm like 'yeah! rite'. I'm not musically good at all. But yeah. He wants me to be in band. I guess the only good thing about that would be the Josh thing, since Rachel is going back to Africa in July. *tear*
