ok so what exactly is the meaning of life? some people say its to live for God..to do good for people, in contrast im pretty sure there are plenty of people who think the point of living is only to die.. to cease to exist. that seems to be my friend brandon's theory. but the dark part of that is, what if hes right? what if we are all living to die. sure.. its very nihilistic...but think about it.. it makes more sense than alot of the other theories... because...what is the one thing that ties every living person together? the one thing that we all do... no matter who we are... or what our status is. we all die. dying is the only thing in life that makes us all equal. no one can "die better" than anyone else... we all die the same. its equality at its finest... and its the only equality. otherwise no matter who you are... or how you think you believe...you still think you are above some people..and you still think some people are above you. i will admit it. i think there are certain people who i am better than, and if you dont feel that way about certain people you are nothing but a liar. it makes you stop and think..doesnt it. in fact...im almost positive that the people who i feel as if i am better than, feel the exact same way towards me. the think they are better than me? in all reality..who is better than anyone else..? no one. if we are all bad people doesnt that mean no one is a bad person? if something is nothing and everything is nothing, doesnt that mean that nothing is everything? if i died.. it would mean nothing. nothing different would happen..the world would continue as is... sure.. a few people would be sad...but it would show equality. someday i am going to die. someday george w bush is going to die. so doesnt that make us the same. sure..he has more power..but what is power when you have the same fate as someone with nothing?
