totally lame
the ast dew tour was on this weekend and of course i watched it. i'm in a ranting mood so i'll give my opinion of the events..
skateboard street: good competition. i'm still surprised that paul rodriguez isn't doing good this year cause he's an amazing skater and i feel the same way about jereme rogers. grag lutzga was amazing. he's such a good skater and he has an amazing attitude. ryan sheckler's a dick. sure he's a good skater, sure he's cute, but he's still an ass. he's overly confident to the point that he's cocky. i was glad that someone else took gold because he needed a reality check. don't get me wrong i'm a huge fan of his and i have been for years, but seriously he's pretty rude. oh and what about the fact that when he found out that he got second he got his trophy, left, and cancelled his autograph session. nice kid right?
skate vert: shaun white is my hero. i love the guy. bucky isn't doing too well which is weird to me. bob burnquist always looks like he's riding super slow. it's funny yet annoying. plg is super good and i think he might be the only person who will beat shuan this year.
bmx vert: amazing. i personally don't find watching it on t.v. any fun, but i've been to enough contests to know that jamie bestwick is amazing along with steve mccann, kevin robinson, and simon tabron. oh and supp at the fact that i was actually part of two of jay eggleston's bmx shows.
bmx dirt: didn't see much of it, but i heard it was one of the best yet.
bmx park: holy shit. best bmx competition i've ever watched. everyone put out 200% and it showed. scotty cranmer finally stepped it up and did super good. i'm still pissed that dave mirra got second because daniel really deserved it. mike spinner's 1080 was sick. colin mckay ripping his pant was hilarious. plus i love how they paid respect to stephen murray and showed him some love because he needs and deserves it.
fmx: why are they only playing it online? that's shitty. i missed half of it, but from what i saw it was alright. i still miss travis pastrana, but oh well.
oh and i'm still pissed that skipped over denver this year. totally shitty.
i start school tomorrow. wish me luck.
there's a chance that i'm moving to silverthorne soon. pretty sweet.
