I was in Maryland for hardly enough time to catch my breath and adjust to being stateside again before I -and good chunk of my life, which was luckily still packed from my trip back- was whisked up to Connecticut, where I will now be spending the rest of my summer. I'm taking a one-month summer class with an interesting teacher, working 5 nights a week at the Polling Institute (which will probably start majorly sucking really soon), and spending as much time as humanly possible with everyone who's up here. I get to see Mike lots and lots which is a really nice change from, y'know, not being with him for 4 months and having a whole entire ocean between us. As happy as I am to be up here and with him I would have liked to have more time in Reisterstown and with my family, though I know that were I to be there for longer than a month I'd be itching to leave. I feel like after living completely on my own for 4 months I'm not going to be able to revert back to the co-dependent, baby daughter that my dad loves so much. It's nice to be up up here and have no one to answer to, except for Laura when I forget to turn off the light in the kitchen.
In all, my life is pretty low-key (for a change), but I'm enjoying it.
PS- My bed's a full AND we have a pull-out couch in the living room so come visit please!!
