with the good comes the bad
so yay- i got the job at Nature's Table in the mall. (due to my availablity, experience, and the manager & I both loving Tina Pettigrew) The manager is young and seems really cool, and she said she has no problem starting me off at 6.25 an hour, but i only get 5.50 during training. She kinda underestimates my work at the theater though. She was talking about putting up with old ladies and how busy it gets and you hafta work with food. Given I don't actually cook at the theater besides making popcorn and those nutty things- we do go through hundreds of people all at once every other hour. Half of the customers being little kids paying with nickels and the other half being cheap and confused old people. - but maybe i won't tell her that and she'll just think i catch on really quickly.
Anyway- when I went in for the interview today i felt like I was about to cry cuz I didn't get any mail from luke- and since he can only send things out on Sundays, it should definitely be here by today. I dunno if he forgot, got in trouble, or the mail is just taking longer this week. Either way i am seriously bummed.
On the bright side- I scored two pairs of dickies shorts for work for under $20 cuz they were on sale, and I'm meeting kim and aimee to go see the village tonight. Sad that i havn't seen it yet, I know- but when we stayed to preview it before it came out, it was 1:30 am and they hadn't started it yet. (so it was either go home with the other employees and watch it later, or watch it alone/ with Jimbo at 3:00 in the morning)
