Just got back from Muse. They were fucking amazing. I don't care how much money I spent. I'm tired of people bitching about the prices of shows. You're either a fan, or you're not. If it's under fifty bucks, it's worth it. And even sometimes if it's over fifty bucks (like if it's the Eagles) it's worth it. You can't put a price on good memories and great times. Concerts make it all worthwhile, no joke. Looking forward to a great show is often the only light at the end of my tunnel filled with stressful work, piled up schoolwork, nagging parents, and heartache. So I'm going to continue to spend my hard-earned money on concerts. I'm young and I'm going to do this while I still can. I encourage everyone else to do the same.
Sunday is the Next Big Thing show. I'm going because MCR will be there. Sure The Used adds a little bit of a perk, and if the times don't overlap, I'll prolly go watch Sum 41 and Lit (aww)...but my "expensive" 30 dollar tickets are totally worth just MCR. They're on the cover of AP this month, I was so excited. I bought it. Very interesting article as well. I'm still pretty bummed that Manson was tonight too...cause I really wanted to go see them.. but I'm sure the opportunity will arise again, and I don't regret my decision.
Life's an endless series of decisions...weighing out options to find out which will bring the most favorable results or the least unfavorable ones. It's kind of depressing at times. I don't like having to make choices, especially when there are often two good things to choose from. ::Shrug::
I worked 37 hours this past week...blah.. I'm pretty exhausted. This retail shit is for the birds.. but I like the money and the instant reward for my hard work. Unlike school, which is a constant thorn in my side. I really need to figure out what I want to do, so I can stop aimlessly taking expensive classes.
Anyway. I'm going to have a New Year's Eve party...as usual.. everyone should come. Especially people who haven't come in the past like Nick and Kasey. It's a grand old time.
Ok i'm shutting up now.
