Last night was just...eurgh...I hate it when there aren't words enough to explain things.
Explosions in the sky were mindblowing. How they move the music from record to stage is just beyond me. I was standing there and getting so drawn into the music and their passion and before I knew it a whole hour had gone by. Your Hand in Mine means so much to me and when they played it, it just blew me away. I'm so honoured to share these things with people I love.
Fourtet was good but for me, he couldn't really follow Explosions. He is amazing at what he does but I don't think I was really in the mood. To be honest, I would have been happy to go home after Explosions. I could have just ended on a high.
It was so good to see Carrie, even if it was fleetingly. I miss her.
How lucky are we to have such an amazing venue just down the road? Stars is going to be so awesome there.
I have lots of work and not much time to do it. Boo. Best get on.
