Fall TV 2009 so far

still testing:

Trinity: Partially okay, but partially unbearable (see any plotline that involves the two "fools". wtf?). Also, remember the most boring actor on the planet - aka the main actor from Demons? He's in this. He's a tad better, but only because the writing so much better - his acting is still way off in the land of fail.

Mercy. Only watched one episode so far. Wasn't annoyed with the female main character - which is rare, considering this a US show. *If* I'm going to keep a new medic drama this will probably be it.

NCIS:LA: I'm still not sure the world needs an NCIS spin-off. Especially since NCIS is oh so wrong on so many levels. And yeah, it's watchable, but Chris O'Donnell's acting usually makes me fall asleep (this show does not prove to be the exception) - and LL Cool J... Every time I see him I have to think about that creepy "raped his boyfriend" blind item *shudders*
Also, where did the female boss go?

Flash Forward: My main problem with this show is, that I don't give a damn about the characters. I slightly care about the John Cho character but that's probably more grounded in the fact that he was in Star Trek than anything else.
I mean am I the only one who thinks it's a bad sign that the most interesting thing about this show was the kangaroo?? (About which they will probably never talk again.)

Glee: I don't know. I don't really get the squee, but then I also hate High School Musical with a passion. There are episodes that I kind of like (the one where football team had to dance comes to mind), but more often I'm kind taken aback by the whole attitude of "Let's do a show about outsiders and how awesome they are" but nevertheless writing up every stupid cliché there is and kind of giving the exact opposite message between the lines.

Trauma: I'm probably going to watch one more episode, but I don't think I want to watch this. Too many special effects, therefore unrealistic plots and not enough character development.

Stargate Universe: Not as bad as I expected. The pilot was okay, if you ignore the racist casting. Something the SG universe *always* excels in.
Anyway, I still wished they had killed off the old military leader, because the only scene that was *really* interesting was the point where there was no clear leadership available.

kicked out:

Vampire Diaries: Oh wow, this rivals Twilight in its stupidity and bad acting. Nothing made me laugh so hard like Ian Somerhalder trying to play bad boy by giving us the weird frozen smirk. --> Epic. Fail.
But I guess the low quality level, the Mary Sue and the major boredom was the whole point of the show? I mean they *want* to attract the insane people that invented the Edward action figure vibratorTM.

Eastwick: It's female midlife-crisis meets Charmed on the Gilmore Girls set. And it's exactly as awful as that sounds. With Paul Gross showing off this amazingly baaad acting skillz o.O (WTF happened to you?).

Melrose Place: LOLz. Sorry, but the existence of this show alone proves that the CW programming people must be utterly brain dead.

The Forgotten: Did I fall asleep?
