Too late! He's already taken!

As usual, I have an exam tomorrow, but I'm posting something on here.  Anyway, I figured I'd do a little update now since I'll be busy from now on and I might not remember everything on Saturday.

First and foremost, this little Asian cashier at Eddie's told me that I looked like Michelle Obama while I was buying groceries after my interview.  She pretty much made the entire store turn around to see if I looked like Michelle Obama while she asked the other cashier if she agreed.  The other cashier made this really bad joke about being married and it being too late to get Obama because he was already taken, but I won't repeat it on here.  This is not the first person to tell me this, mind you.  Sarah's boyfriend, Ben, said I looked like her a few months ago and I didn't really agree.  I still don't, actually.  I told Sana, Erin, and my sisters and my sisters agreed that I didn't look like Michelle while Sana and Erin agreed that I did look like her.  Now Steffie and Leslie are agreeing with the cashier.  To quote Steffie,

Oh, Kara.  Michelle Obama is the new *it* girl.  She's the new Jackie Kennedy.  Everyone wants to dress her.  She's really glamorous.  You should be flattered.  She's a beauty queen, and she's married to Obama.  Obamanation.  --And you could be her double!  You could be cast as young Michelle in the movie!! ...[in another email] Because it's a great compliment.  I know you can't see it.  She's gorgeous and The Michelle Obama stare--you have it Kara!  The 'I'll blast you if you ask me the wrong questions with my laser beam gaze.'"   [POOF!]

Just shut up, you.  Yes, she's pretty, yes, she's awesome cuz she's married to Obama, but come on! I swear, one more person says that to me I'm gonna start throwin punches! Next thing you know, I'll go see J&J in November (more on that later) and Jared'll be like "Hey, you know you look like MIchelle Obama..." at which point I'll be forced to punch him in the face.  I don't care if he's 6'4"...

In other news, I had my interview at the Medical Archives and I got the job! I mean, I was already pretty much hired, but I was still slightly nervous and it still feels good to actually hear the words "we have authorization to hire you." So, yeah, I start on Monday and I'll probably be working with Tim on the film project. At first, I thought it would be some little watch movies and whatnot, but I forgot this is the medical archives and I was directed to a little cold room filled with ancient looking film reels. Oh boy.  I should have just stopped at "I'm fine with data entry."  Everyone was pretty nice.  I met Miss Cav(?) who's this little old lady that pretty much asked me everything except my blood type while Andy and Phoebe laughed behind their hands as she told me the infamous "Guy McCann Story." I also met a woman named Nancy who may or may not be Erin's mystery woman with the brown hair and glasses.  I think Andy and Pheobe may have said "shpiel" about 30 times during the interview , but all in all it was a good day.

Also, (reason for the icon) there's a definite possiblity that Sana and I will be going to Chicago for the Supernatural convention to meet Jared & Jensen(!!!).  I officially have to create two different funds now: The Seattle fund and the Jensen fund so I can go meet Jensen. Oh my god. So excited! I don't care if it sounds weird, It's freakin Jensen Ackles! And Jason Manns is going to be there too (as of today), so there's a chance that I might be able to see/hear Jensen sing. And Steve might be there! Oh that would be amazing. Can't wait! oh my god!

The first term of Physics is almost over, and it's kind of hard, but hopefully I'll be able to get a good enough grade on the last midterm and on the final to get through it in one piece. *fingers crossed* Physics Lab is the easiest class I've taken here.  It's beautiful.

On that note, I should get back to studying.  I would have added more details, but physics is more important than details right now, so till next time, kiddies.
