Homemade Crepes? Yesyum!
So when I was like 13, my grandmother taught me how to make homemade crepes and then when I was like 15 my uncle improved the recipie, so here it is from memory (let's hope it works!):
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of flour
2 tablespoons of butter/margerine (or non-stick spray butter. whatever floats your boat)
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the eggs (whites & yolks), flour, water, and salt.
2. Add the milk, mixing it in until you're looking at a semi-soupy, custard-like thickness. Make sure to mix it all up. NO CHUNKS!
3. Melt the butter on a frying pan (you can also use olive oil, or cooking oil.. whatever you want)
4. Pour in the batter, judging how much you'll need per crepe. (This part's just common sense, no measurements. lol)
5. Let it fry for a bit. When the bottom's nice a brown, flip it and fry the top.
6. Serve hot with nutella, bananas, assorted berries, kiwis, whipped creme, ice cream. YOU DECIDE!
Ta-Da! :D
