oh yee. christmas is almost here and working at the mall really blows. kinda makes it difficult to get into the holiday spirit when extremely high strung women with two year old children (its worse if they have a two year old and a four year old...worse combination EVER) are unleashing all their pent up frustration on us because they have to wait 5-10 minutes for whatever it is they need. it really is tiring having to keep up the cheerleader state of mind and keep a smile on all the time even when the most devilish child complete with matching parent is wasting your time.
i want to be completely filled with joy right now because christmas is near and its supposed to be a celebration but ive managed to get myself caught up in the gift buying and all so losing sight of the real meaning has definitely occured and i dont like it. i guess it also kinda makes christmas seem a little dismal when every year (it NEVER fails) we have some kind of family tension thing going on that puts a damper on the day...but we'll see how this christmas turns out eh?
