*Sigh*
Well it didn't happen. My match w/ Jerry Lawler did not happen Saturday night. We went out for a promo spot and Nikki realized she left the battery to her camera at home. So she rushed home to get it. She rushes back to her seat and... trips. She broke her ulna right above the wrist. I was positive it was broke when I saw her b/c she looked so pale and sick. I rode in an ambulance w/ her to the ER (I was afraid to drive her b/c she kept saying everyone sounded far away.. she was going to pass out). She got some good drugs in the ER, Morphine and Phenergan. Enough so that the orthopedist was able to reset her arm and not wake her up. We are very relieved that it didn't require surgery, when I looked at the x-ray I thought it would definitely need surgery.
Nikki has to be off this week and it's driving her crazy. I've been messing w/ her telling her we should play cards.. hehehe I'm evil and can't stop myself. She's managing pretty well for a gimp. The kids do not understand and try to keep jumping up on her. I'm gonna stay home from work tonight b/c she's kind of fogged out today. Not sure why she hasn't been taking her pain meds. If it was me I would be knocked out until the thing healed.
The promoter was good to me and had someone sub into the match. The guy who was my manager that night said me and my wife were going to sue Lawler b/c he had the crowd worked up into a frenzy so it was his fault she tripped. Just goes to show you anything is possible w/ wrestling.
