and apparently exaclty 2 months since my last post... it's my birthday!
Monday not being the best day to pull everyone away for a party, celebrations were yesterday. Met up with a bunch of friends at the Winchester Mystery House to tour the sprawling mansion then went out to dinner at Chile's. I just talked to my dad and he said I've been there before, but I have absolutely no memory whatsoever of it, he says I was like 7 or 8 years old, I think I was way younger than that.
It was fun to walk up and down, down and up, down then down then up, then up then down then up, then down around then up then down, or just up to the ceiling, or through the door on the third floor that goes outside ... with out a balcony. Anyway, I was kinda surprised that so much of it was unfinished or just boarded up after the 1906 earthquake. It was fun and beautiful and bizarre.
