The show last night was a lot of fun. The standing around and waiting before the show...was less than fun. Our original plan was to head over to the venue, pick up our tickets, and then go sit at Starbucks until 9:00. But when we got to the venue, they didn't actually have any printed out tickets for the show, and they had to just physically walk us into the venue. Unfortunately for us, that meant to had to sit through four opening bands.
Twitter has brought a whole new experience to being at a show. It's kind of weird. Also, while looking for things to do at the show last night, Nicole and I figured out how I could Twitpic from my phone. Expect a lot more of the business in the future. Go

Bizarre text message convo's killed much time for Nicole and I as well. I love my best friend. It makes me sad that my best friend lives 2 hours away in Milwaukee, and my other one lives 5 hours away in Michigan.
Fall Out Boy's set was pretty sweet. The show in Chicago was a bit more "glamorous" for lack of a better word. More fancy lights, pyro, and teddy bear confetti. Milwaukee was much more "typical" show, but it was the same set and it was still awesome. A little more than half way through Nicole and I needed to switch our POV, because the girls standing in front of us were begging us to beat the shit out of them. They were much bigger than I was, although I'm sure we could have taken them.
Nicole is just getting out of the shower, and then we are going to head over to Sonic for breakfast. I'm going to get so much food....just to make up for not eating Sonic in forever. We went for dinner before the show last night, and it was just as perfect as I remembered. We both decided we were too tired after the show to go back, so we swung through the Taco Bell drive thru instead. Almost just as satisfying.
Driving home this morning, and tomorrow brings us into the home stretch of the end of school. I think I heard 15 more days left in the halls last week. I can't wait for summer, and all the planning, training, and organizing I'll get to do for the fall. It's going to be awesome. I still can't believe I have a real job.
