New Years
2006... wow, what a year. I had my first full time (40 +hrs per week) job, I found out where i was going to college, I watched nearly all my friends graduate, and made it half a year without them, got a lot closer to my little brother, and got close to a few other less expected people, jsut to name a few
Overall, it was a really great year, but I'm still looking forward to 2007. Just the sheer amount of things I have to look forward to (mostly whats involved in transitioning from high school to college) is crazy.
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Held a full time job, got into college, visited Scotland, among a few other things.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't really make new years resolutions, I guess if i didn't they'd always be the same- try for a happy and healthy year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
umm, I don't think so
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I thought he was close to it for a while, but things are looking up
5. What countries did you visit?
Scotland
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
More "me" time
7. What date(s) from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
oy, theres a bunch- prom, June 15th- the birthday party thingy at matthews, June 22nd- graduation , october 11ish, got into st as, december 15th got into princeton, and dec 31st
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
the things I did over the summer (my job and physics)
9. What was your biggest failure?
My relationship with my mother
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
the usual slew of coughs and colds. As per injuries, yeah a few, along with the general beating I obtain from my friends.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My parents xmas gift... its perfect (and happens to get them out of the house for the weekend)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Devika and Meghan, definitely. actually, the whole tribe deserves some recognition, for managing to graduate and go on their road with reasonable to great success.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Asides from my own? A few people hurt others and shouldn't have, but thats it.
14. Where did most of your money go?
food, gifts,
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting into college
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
I don't know the name of it (the first one on my 'solos' playlist, not like that helps), oh and a few damien rice songs

i. Happier or sadder? Happier, by a long shot
ii. Thinner or fatter? the same? Fatter. by a lot
iii. Richer or poorer? richer!, though 2007, with the onslaught of freshman year, will probably rob me.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Hung out with friends, relaxed.

Worrying.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it with my immediate family, just hanging out. oh, and playing a RIDICULOUSLY bad board game that should be destroyed.

Platonically, all over the place.

whatever decorating show happens to be on.

these CDs I dug up from my desk of burnt music, though i didn't have the foresight to write anything down

an acceptance letter from st as and princeton, a cool teapot, soup.

I turned 17, and I watched my friends graduate from high school.

I'm not really sure. I think if I'd known what that was I would have sought it out

hahaha, ummmm dressed was an accomplishment. concept "jeans and whatevers easy"
