So, I got a new job, with a relatively low (yet high for what I'm doing) salary, with health and paid vacation. I'm very excited about this, especially since about ten minutes after I got the call to inform me that I got the job, I got another call from Dave Major who was essentially laying me off. This allows me to start at the new place on Monday without worrying about conflict of schedule.
After this upcoming week I will be working Tues-Sat 10 am to 7 pm, which is nice because it doesn't involve waking up at any of the hours god has forsaken and it doesn't entirely kill off the premise of having a social life, which is something I've been lacking for the past year, at least to the people I've known the longest, and it still leaves the appropriate holes for regularly scheduled D&D, and slightly delayed minis and Guild night. Also I get to start using my vacation after 90 days so I can still go to Zelda's wedding in May.
Get Smart is the greatest show ever.
