Today I went out to go sledding with Mebus. Yeah I went sledding in mid/late March because it snowed here, big deal. IT'S STILL WINTER. SHIT HAPPENS. Anyway it was pretty fun, we drove out to Lambertville and sledded down that old ski-hill, twice. The one that takes like ten minutes to walk up. It was pretty crazy.
Anyway I talked to Mebus at length, I joked around with him about how old he is (he's 23, almost 24) and he told me that he doesn't feel so shitty about being in his mid-20s anymore. He actually kind of likes it, he says he's finally at a point in his life where he can look back at the past and say that he'd rather be where he is than where he was. It's funny that Mebus, a pissed-off, vegan straight edge atheist dude who basically hates everything on earth can somehow find a sense of well-being and satisfaction in the universe. I'm sort of envious.
Tomorrow I'm going to do something very interesting and afterwards nothing is going to be the same again, I promise (myself).
