The other day chapel was pretty fun. In the junior high one, all the kids came down and mingled among us as we played. It was weird actually. All those little eyes staring at you, so close up. I felt like I was an especially interesting feature of a petting zoo. Anyway, on one of the songs, Eric started it way too fast. As soon as he started though, the kids caught on and started clapping. We tried to slow down the tempo but it just wasn't happening. It was those creepily close 13 year-olds I tell ya. We ended up playing the song at like three times the normal tempo. After we all finished playing and went into the little weight room, we all laughed for a while. It was great.

dang. It's 8:00 and I'm already exhausted. I'm so getting old.
