Holy Makeover Batman! Kellie Pickler was all diva-fied on the CMA's last night and her freaking song made me cry! I cry almost every time I hear it on the radio, but seeing it live makes it sadder. Oh, Kellie! Here's the youtube for those who want a good cry:
"I Wonder" I just got a call from the library saying that I have made my way to the top of the 300+ list and my Deathly Hallows audiobooks are ready - yay! Trouble is, my commute is about 5 minutes so listening in the car is out. I think I'll upload the discs to my itunes and then put them on my ipod I guess? Is that totally weird? It will be odd to be walking in the grocery store, on the beach, etc. and listening to Jim Dale narrate. I already have this problem when I listen to the Ugly Betty podcast and start cracking up no matter where I am.
Tuesday I took candy to the
strikers across the street. My favorite reaction was "heeey basket lady coming!!" because I had the candy in a cute basket. Anyway, I met Peter Horton and several character actors whose names I don't immediately know. I also spoke with this one guy who looked very familiar but I couldn't place. It was bugging me for hours until I went to the site esme referred me to. It was totally Paul Haggis!! He should carry his Oscar around on the picket line.
Thankfully, they are getting a little more clever with the signs. One person had covered their normal sign with "WIthout Us the Internet is Just for Porn." And apparently yesterday people were picketing a Desperate Housewives location shoot chanting "we write the storia for Eva Longoria!" HA!
