A long time comming.... (two Poems)
Wow it has been such a long while since I've posted....anything.
Well I'm back for now with two poems.
Be gentle loves it’s been a bit since I've penned anything of substance.
Silhouettes fade to haze joining the dust in my eyes
drying tears at their source
I force
The steps forward
Scrape and tap a path
Across
Dull gleaming floors
Etching my way back
To a life
That was yours.

Slumber deep and satisfied
Hold my form behind your eyes
Dream us to the wilds unknown
Where foxglove and jasmine thrive overgrown,
The air breathed deep: thick and sweet
It’s there;
within your irises meet
The shades of you and I entwined
Where my soul is yours and your heart is mine
