the bitch is back.
Well, well. We meet again, livejournal. Its been weeks and weeks since I updated this, and I wish that I had a bunch of hilarious stories to tell you (I'm sure that I do, I just can't think of any off the top of my head right now) but unfortunately you will just have to wait on those...
Things are going surprisingly well these days (knock on wood). The apartment is coming together, every week we get a few more things for it, but then realize a few MORE things that we need, got some new office furnature for in here and I was all ready to re-arrange everything but can't because we need another power strip. Stuff like that. Otherwise, I am looking forward to doing a little yard work this weekend, if the weather permits it. Work is pretty good, I've been learning new stuff, finally feeling a little comfortable with what I am doing, I love (some of) my co-workers, and I'm finally getting used to working on 2nd shift (3-11pm). My only complaint is that my sleep schedule is all fucked up now, I stay up until 3 or 4am and then get up at noon, I really need to do something about that. Got my bridesmaids dress, gonna lose those 8 pounds before Marys wedding in June, and tomorrow I am getting my first real (as in in a salon) haircut in years, which is veeery exciting. I know Olivia will do a great job and it'll be nice to get things thinned out and my bangs trimmed up.
Mom is doing well, had chemo off for the past 2 weeks which I guess is okay, but she is working again, a few hours a day whenever she feels up to it, which I know lightens her spirits because she really loves her job. Ryan of course is as awesome as ever, its been tough (for me, it never really seems to bother him) only seeing him for like a half hour a day (10 min before he leaves for work, 20 min after I get home) but it is what it is, I guess. Could always be a lot worse, thats for sure.
Annnyways this was basically pointless, but oh well. Updates are updates. Smell you all later.
