I laughed and then realised the inside joke was now going on eight years old. Its still just as hilarious as it was then and the more time passes the funnier it gets because its so stupid. He doesnt even have to tell the entire joke anymore- the mention of THE joke or an inuendo relating to it is enough and we all sit around and laugh about it.

There's nothing else like having best friends. The circle is coming back together again and I feel like I did back then.

Even though we have all grown up, we're still the same people we were in 8th and 9th grade. The video game sleepovers, band practices, and videotaping ourselves being stupid may have passed but those memories make our friendship stronger. I cant say i've mooned a tourbus full of japenese people with anyone else!

Remember the time we threw the dirty dishes off the cliff? Remember "ska kid" and "little punk?" What about the time we almost got kicked out Mr Bills? And E chords... Shitfest, NUFAN, The Graceland, RKCNDY, sneaking into the everett skatepark before it opened, talent shows, the calais, jack in the box tacos, jumbo jack!, mcd's 29 cent burgers, driving to shows in seattle when we werent supposed to go, building fires at golden gardens with post-its and a css catalog, corrupting exchange students(maybe they corrupted us?), bro hymn, garbage men, car dancing, the jones bong, italian toast, getting on the guestlist at rbf just by chance, group hugs, 1080 snowboarding, steep slope sliders, scIII, renting games from pat, gigantic spit wad like things at pat's party, cleaning them up two days later, granite falls adventures in that van, getting a skate park built, holdling a rally, blocking traffic on state street, getting a police escort, getting on the front page of the paper, karaoke at the white E, stumbling home, stealing street signs, tea from taiwan (or korea? i cant remember where it came from now!), walking up grove hill for the promise of porn and ice cold coca-cola, ICE COLD SATISFACTION! (and for only 89 cents!), spending my allowance on getting soda for everyone, skating around marysville, taking guitars/amps on the bus, trying to fit a drumset into ron's car, funny notes on the bottoms of playlists, minimizing talking, ron flapping his arms like the penguin he is, getting into arguements at band practice (or breaking them up), sitting on nate's mom's back porch, jars of stuff, spliffs, mexi-mart stores, castle superstore at 2am, skating at tower records, filming at walmart, kiddie pools, foam gliders, and mt dew.

I love you guys!

To Nate, Ron, Ryan, Marie, Pat, Jake
