Know Your Enemy
It's been such a crazy weekend!
I worked Friday night, had to call the cops because there were a bunch of drunk 16-year-old boys who walked out with an entire box of beef jerky.
Saturday, I spent the day driving my mom around to yard sales - IN THE POURING RAIN. who has yard sales when it's raining? perhaps a garage sale or two, but no, right on their lawns.
Saturday night I go into work, tired and in such a bad mood. More drunk people, a lot of out-of-towners staying at their cottages. At one point I had about 30 drunk people in the store at once trying to decide what they all wanted because the only sober one in the bunch was going to pay for it all. Then my ex comes in on his lunch break (this is at about 2 am) and wants to "talk". Not only is there nothing to talk about, but work is the last place I wanted to talk to him. Apparently he doesn't believe that I really wanted to break up with him, because I "didn't act like I was thinking about". Sure, I was. I just wanted to surprise you.
Then 2 coffee machines overflowed and as I'm carrying one to the sink to dump it out, it starts leaking hot coffee alllll over my arm. Had to mop the floor for the 3rd time. Guy comes in the store and wants to buy cigarettes but the debit machine stopped working and he gets mad. Then as he leaves the store post freak-out, he feels the need to remind me that there's coffee spilled all over the counter. Thanks, coz I didn't already know.
Today my best friend had the day off so we went shoe shopping in Toronto, and I bought her these sweet Converses with a crossword puzzle on them. I just bought shoes and I'm poor so I got nothing :(
Now I'm off to work again tonight but got the next few days off so sorry if anyone has been anxiously awaiting fic. More will be up tomorrow afternoon!
