Winding Down
As usual, I'm freaking out about something towards the end of the semester. This semester it's a 10 page research paper for my business law class. Though I've written loads of papers longer than that by now, this time I found myself freaking out because there was no topic at all... We could write about ANYTHING. Tort law, environmental law, internet privacy and the legal system... People were writing about digital rights management, intellectual property rights, the financial collapse + government regulation, non competes.... And I had nothing.
I freaked out for a couple of weeks. (Something about my Business Law class-- there are no deadlines) So, since there are no freaking deadlines, naturally, I put everything off ALL semester, and have 3 papers to hand in by... Thursday. The recommended deadline for this research paper was November 3rd....
So finally I settled on a topic and have a brief outline of a paper about the pharmaceutical industry, the FDA and the legal system...
I haven't written a single word and I already feel SO much better.
Wish me luck on the rest of the paper!
