Sleepy
Tired....but work calls, in thirty minutes I get to go and do what I do to pay bills. Not in the best shape for doing so went out with friends last night movie then dinner.
So we went and checked out Unleashed With Jet Lee and Morgan Freeman, I was relieved that the movie didnt completely suck. As Hollywood has been very dissapointing for me as of late. Premise of the movie I wont go into, more or less Lee goes around beating people up, which of course is expected....if I payed 8 dollars and he didnt beat anyone up there would be a decidedly different tone to this.
I give it a 7 out of 10 while my friends gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up, I have no idea when I became the harshest critic out of the group. But I just found it lacking a few elements I cant quite place my thumb on.
I guess its the fact that a few things werent explained...who the hell was the albino? How did Uncle survive the accidents? There is more Im forgetting im sure.
Ultimately its expected that I ignore those things and focus on the action which is the meat of the movie, I suppose its my own fault for overthinking things? Problem is I cant just shut off my brain.
On the plus side comedy was there, not the cheesy comedy that most action movies suffer from but actual comedy that would make you laugh....of course the side comments from friends lead to more laughter. Afterwards Dennys......wow the selection was pretty bad, but what are you going to do?
