ALONG THE LINES

a/n: this is simply a collection of WIPs that I’ve already had for a while and haven’t been able to finish yet, just to let you know that I’M STILL ALIVE EVEN THOUGH I’M BARELY BREATHING because of all this school work my professors are burying me in. If you like one though, please feel free to comment so I could put it in my priority list and start on it when I’m done with all my labor. Kamsaaa!~~

a/n2: by the way, the ones with the “???” instead of a title obviously don’t have titles (and pairings) yet, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment!

In the dark
Genre: angst
Warning: character death, implied sex
Pairings: Baekhyun/Chanyeol
Summary: Morning will soon come, and light will shine through.

The room was drowning in silence, except for the incessant tapping of a keyboard in front of the investigator a little ways near the farthest corner of the room. Chanyeol looked up from staring at his hands, intertwining his long, slim fingers together that showed his unease as the door opened, and a figure that was almost two meters tall came in, bringing with him a stack of folders that he held in one hand, a cup of coffee in another. It was Kris.

He sat at the chair on the other side of the table, facing Chanyeol. “Here, have a drink. I know you need it.” He placed the steaming cup of coffee in front Chanyeol. Chanyeol threw him a greatful look and sipped the contents of the cup slowly, careful not to spill any on himself. Kris laid out the folders on top of the table, scanning them one-by-one. He stopped reading one halfway and glanced up to look Chanyeol, who was still busy finishing the remains of his coffee.

“Are you sure you’re okay to proceed with this?”

Having downed all the contents of the cup, Chanyeol placed it on the table and licked his lips, eyes glazing over for a moment as he was deep in thought. “Yes, I’m sure. If I wouldn’t, who will, right?”

“Yes, I’m aware of that, but-“Kris started to protest, but Chanyeol shook his head, dismissing Kris’s thoughts.

“For him. I’m doing this for him.” Kris nodded, grimacing a bit at the memory.

The infamous Red Light district was always full of people. During the day, tourists and shoppers would flock the streets of this place in Bangkok. But during the night, something treacherous always happens.

Kairos
Genre: fluff, (my poor attempt at) humor
Pairing: Girl! Xiumin/Chen, side Girl! Baekhyun/Chanyeol
Summary: Xiumin thinks Jongdae is going crazy. Baekhyun knows Jongdae is crazy. Kris has had enough of everyone. And Yixing… just wants to take a sleep.

“Kim Minseok is a girl!” Jongdae flailed his arms in front of Kris who was seated in front of a round, wooden coffee table, his right leg crossed over his left one.

Kris didn’t look up from his phone. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure we all got that covered since day one.”

“No, you don’t understand! MINSEOK IS A GIRL! A PERSON WITH… WITH BIG BUMPS IN THE CHEST CALLED BOOBS! A HUMAN WITH A VAGINA!” Jongdae sounded hysterical then, and Kris paused the game he was playing on his phone and stared at the shorter boy in front of him with his usual blank expression (which always made him look pissed off, but it was okay, since all of his friends have been used to that by now). “I know that a girl has boobs and a vagina, Jongdae. I went through school; they taught us the parts of the reproductive system in fifth grade.”

“But hyung-“the protest died out in Jongdae’s throat when the object of his worries showed up, holding the doorknob in her right hand with a soccer ball in another. Her long hair was tied in a ponytail, a black cap covering her head. But despite the obstruction, Jongdae could see the twinkle in her eyes.

???
Summary: He was always at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

---

????
Summary: Between the first day that I met you and the last day you said goodbye, there were those moments that seemed to stretch on forever, and I thought those would never end… And somewhere along the way, I fell in love.

---

????
Summary: Because I know that no matter how much I wish for it, no matter how hard I close my eyes and keep on whispering to myself that you will keep your promise, no matter how many meteor showers pass by, I know that you will never call.

The End of Our Story
Pairings: (one-sided) choa/jaejin, jaejin, mina
Park Cho Ah (choaya), Lee Jae Jin (jaejinnie), Kwon Min Ah
Summary: The feelings I’ve hidden still remain as a painful secret memory

The laughter faded, along with Choa’s smile. She turned her head to face him, trying to sound as if she was simply curious. But she couldn’t hide the hurt look in her eyes. “Do you love her?”

There was a pause. If she hadn’t known him, she would’ve taken it as if he was unsure of himself. But no, she did know him. She had for more than four years already, that she knew that he was only thinking of a way how to break it down to her. But Jaejin wasn’t good with words-he never has been. That, she knew. So only a simple nod and a “Yes” was the reply that came.

She smiled, though it contrasted what she felt by tenfold. “Then tell her.” She stood up and dusted off her pants before holding out her hand to him. “C’mon, before it’s too late.” Like how it’s too late for you and me.
