Dr.K's availability meter. I wish every professor had that.
This is a new CS department computer lab. Look closely. These unholy abominations are Apple MAC minis with Dell LCDs. The lab is appropriately called "Fruits" with all machines having fruity names. Yes, there is an Apple Apple somewhere. Gosh.
Target picture 1. Sharapova-branded pink tennis rackets.
Target picture 2. This is an impossible drink machine. It got both Pepsi and Coke products. I haven't seen that anywhere else.
Overall, Target has a number of advantages over WalMart. The store is much cleaner, it's better visually designed (do you like red? I like red!) and there is fewer people. The assortment may be a tiny bit smaller (one pair of crappy badminton rackets versus three pairs of crappy badminton rackets) and prices a tiny bit higher, but I think overall I'd prefer Target.
My mother asked for pictures of my new apartment. Living room. Since I am never there, I didn't do anything to it. I've got an impressive number of pillows, though (like 12). If we ever want to do a pillow fight -- I have more than enough supplies.
Kitchen. I haven't tested yet if dishwasher and stove/oven work.
Bathroom.
Bedroom. The full picture is rather bigger than usual.
