I'm going to see The Whispertown 2000 at the Echo tomorrow. I'm excited! They are my brother and my second favorite band after Rilo Kiley of course. We have our fingers crossed that we'll see Blake and Jenny and if we are that lucky, we are praying we don't embarrass ourselves. So after Whispertown we'll probably go eat at Home which is the greatest restaurant in the history of restaurants. I wish I was 21 already so I could get a drink with my French Toast. Nom nom.

I swear, if people could see what I'm wearing right now I would probably die of embarrassment. I'm wearing this Madonna True Blue shirt I stole from H&M and leggings. AND to top it all off, I'm listening to Madonna's Immaculate Collection right now. IDGAF, I love old school Madonna hence the album and shirt.

The other day after I dropped my brother off at school, I came home and I usually hang out in my mom's room while she gets ready for work because after I go back to sleep. So anyway, we're sitting in her room and I start singing "Borderline" and we had this mini sing along. Then we started singing all these other Madonna songs that I grew up with and it was amazing. It transported me to a different time. Especially when my mom started singing "Crazy For You" I felt like I was three again and she was trying to put me to sleep.

Needless to say I was pretty happy for the rest of the day.

Seriously, right now I'm belting out "Papa Don't Preach". I wonder if this is giving my grandparents deja vu since they had to deal with this with my mom when she was a teenager and now here I am doing the same. I guess good music is good music no matter what decade.

Oh and I'm working on this picture meme that I hope will be up soon. And once I post it all of you will be so tired of my face, but I'm actually enjoying doing it. I'm starting to realize that I've lived a very good, happy, fun, and not boring at all existence so far like I always tend to think of myself.

age: twenty years of sleep, life: you'll be happy, music: live!
