Make sure you look up everything you're voting for on the 4th - it's not just about the White House, we've got local responsibilities as well.

UPDATED to add: You can find a list of ballot initiatives for your state at
Ballotpedia. It looks like they have a listing by state, with an article for each article to be voted upon. It looks like there's a decent summary of pro/con points with supporting links and articles, but I haven't spent enough time with it to tell whether there's any nasty systemic bias hiding out.
