Today...
...is a good day :D
First up, got a phone call from Roam, the eTag company that have been taking money out of my account since March. As it happened, someone had set up an account with direct bank account payment as their option, but the account they'd put down was mine instead of theirs. Way to go with writing down the right numbers XD They'd contacted him, and he was happy to refund the accumulated $850 that he'd managed to get from me (I doubt he was actually happy to be suddenly slugged with an $850 bill, but that was the word the lady on the phone used.) So, provided AusPost doesn't fuck up, I'll have an $850 cheque sometime soon.
Secondly, I love my bosses and my work. "Can I get Saturday night off" was met first with "This Saturday? Do you know how impossible that is going to be?". But, eventually, someone was pulled out of nowhere and I have been effectively replaced for the night. Thus, I get to see her one more time before she drops out of existence for three weeks.
I'm working at Plumpton tonight because I pretty much offered myself, but I don't actually mind too much this time - I got my Saturday, I got my incorrectly transacted money, so there's really not a whole lot that's going to bring me down right now. Even working Grand Final night on Sunday :P
