You’ve always loved silence. As a child, growing up your mother’s daughter, you’ve always been surrounded by nannies or yet another governess, wanting you to learn French and Spanish and playing the violin and the piano. Silence was rare. On the rare occasion when you were able to flee all this you ran away to a place you knew were quiet. You still remember the look on your governess’ face when she found you in a Graveyard when you were staying in Berlin. Anyway. You’ve always had a thing for silence. Now you find that you hate it.
Yes, you realize, you shouldn’t have lost control the way you have.
Yes, you realize, you shouldn’t have snapped at JJ the way you have.
Yes, you realize, you shouldn’t have said those things about JJ’s fiancée (you still refuse to call him his name).
And most of all, you shouldn’t have profiled him and expect her to listen.
But you did. And now you have to deal with it. You have to deal with her, looking at you with blue eyes that betray her anger. Hurt. Disappointment. You shouldn’t have pointed out how he’s always touching her is him claiming her. You shouldn’t have pointed out how he telling the team things she doesn’t want him to know is him showing just who’s going to be the dominating one in this relationship. And most of all. You shouldn’t have told her that the fact that she didn’t want you all to know is not some shit about it becoming real and painful but it’s just her knowing that he’s not the one for her. And that the way she’s always touching you is just a sign of whom she really wants to be with. But you have told her. And now you have to deal with the knowledge that it didn’t help you.
