Next year, we need interns...

So, I've just spent the past few days sorting through last-minute pre-registrations for TempleCon, as well as individual event registrations, and I have come to the conclusion that I can't continue to do this alone.

I started out as the Creative Director for TempleCon, designing the logo & poster for our first year, recruiting artists for our Art Show as well as Guests of Honor, and generally determining the aesthetic direction of the convention. Over the course of the next few years, my work at TempleCon has increased to include answering the lion's share of convention member correspondence, as well as managing convention registrations. And while this definitely falls under the category of "a good problem to have" this year's flood of convention pre-registrations (2.5 times the number from last year!) has kept me at my computer and low on sleep for days on end.

Thankfully, we've already increased our on-site staff to keep operations at the convention running smoothly, but if this convention is going to continue on the path that it has been, it's time to find some interns (and a new office!).
