In the days after the Final War, before the first Swarm...
I'm writing these again! The first new story is up and available to Patrons, and more are coming. Plus the 90+ stories from before, of course.
What am I writing? These are adapted versions of faerie tales set in a post-apocalyptic world. You can find 40 of the earlier stories, free, linked from the Patreon page.
The first time I wrote these, from late 2013 to the end of 2014, they came out regularly. Every weekday, at its height. I loved it. The only reason I stopped was I couldn't justify the time it was sucking from my paying day job. This Patreon should fix that.
The stories share the same setting and the same set of ritual phrases, but there's no serious continuity between them. They're pretty short microfiction, intended to be a quick read.
