Day two of my one week vacation off from work (it is really called Winter Break) and I still feel busy. I am still tutoring and typing assignments for my students. I do not mind much, though. This Thursday, however, we will be traveling to Pennsylvania to visit Big G. It has been about a year since we have seen him. We miss him, and I think he could use the company (alcohol included). We will probably stay for the weekend [I need to return before Monday (classes resume)]. The following week, Y will be off for a week, and we will house/pet-sit for one of his professors. I feel guilty knowing I can relax and take a break, while he sits in his chair editing photo after photo, nonstop. He has been at it for over two weeks, but after tomorrow, he will be able to enjoy his week and 1/2 off. The weather is supposed to be nice this week, therefore, I hope our drive will invite us to stop and take snapshots of a much-desired immense, scorching sun.
There is a scratchy sensation invading our throats. Lemon tea has been helpful, but I suppose honey is necessary to cure our plagued pharynges. In the meantime, while waiting for the lemon battling to alleviate my uneasy throat, I will finish reading a few chapters of Pamuk's "The New Life" before going to bed. Also, I will be thinking of Mom and Sandy and hoping they are sleeping soundly, dreaming heavenly. You too!
Oh, I am wondering (J's doing). What happened to my
?
I just remembered owning one, but I have forgotten all about it's existence. Hm. Maybe I lost it then....
