Rules
1. We're going to start with the obvious rules: first off, no metagaming. Keep a clear distinction between what the player and character know. Likewise, please keep OOC bickering out of IC interactions.
2. Godmoding is bad. Don't do it. You are never allowed to take control of another player's character. You must also give characters time to react (i.e. if you are going to punch them, you must allow the other player to decide if the fist makes contact.)
3. Flaming and harassment are not allowed under any circumstances.
4. In-character-ness is very important to us. You must stay in-character in the roleplay community. We understand that characters grow and change over time, and that's fine, but there must be sufficient justification for any changes and they should still be recognizably the same character. Also, IC stuff goes in this community, plotting, chatter, and drug-fuelled orgies go in the OOC community.
5. Romance is allowed in this community, as is sex, but it is extremely important for us to note that romance and sex are not the sole focus of this roleplay. Everyone likes sex: it is sexy... but please do not walk in assuming that two characters are already in a relationship or will be in a relationship. There must be ample build-up and justification in the roleplay before the characters jump in the sack together. This is not a singles club.
6. If the plot begins to revolve solely around sex, the mod account will jump in and start an event of some sort. i.e. a pack of manticores invading the city.
7. You may change the answers to your questions on your application, but any major changes should be run by a moderator.
8. If your character had relationships with other characters before the beginning of the comic (i.e. Worth and Lamont, Casimiro and Finas), please meet with the relevant players and block out the details of their relationship. This is especially important for characters like Lamont and Adelaide.
9. Sex and violence are allowed, but please put anything that could trigger something behind a cut.
10. Activity: We do expect a certain level of activity from this place. If you are going to be away, please leave a warning post in the OOC community.
11. You were asked the questions in your application for a reason. Please use this information.
12. Please tag your posts with the characters involved in them and the day on which they take place, Day One being the first day after this page.
13. The only events you will ever need to run by a mod are ones that could potentially affect characters who are not directly involved in them (i.e. things that affect the city as a whole, permanent deaths, etc.)
14. One canon character per person. No OCs.
15. Please don't join the community unless you've already been accepted into the RP. You can watch the community if you want to spectate, but please don't join it.
