Um... sure. Art history major, that's me.
In other news... the highlight of my day today is that I have my first shift at Potty Patrol! One of the roles I volunteered for at timothy_tim's school was to work the library- I love libraries!- but they had an overload of volunteers, so I told them to put me into whatever they needed bodies for. And that's how I ended up on Potty Patrol. It involves spending the lunch hours standing in the doorway between the hallway and cafeteria, and making sure that only two people at a time are in each bathroom. If asked, I can also assist with the opening of GoYurts and granola bar wrappers. I've been told by past parents that it's a great gig because you get to know all the kids.
This morning I will make a non-triumphant return to "Sweaty Betty"'s Sports Conditioning class. It's like the boot camp she runs, but less dedication. The last time I went, I managed to participate in twenty-ish minutes of step aerobics and NOT FALL DOWN. I was super-proud. The time before that, we spent, like, twenty minutes jumping and touching the wall in front of us. Dull and exhausting and probably good for me. I mentioned to a personal trainer friend that I found it dull, and she interrupted and said, "I LOVE THAT!" Seriously? That much enthusiasm for jumping and touching the wall in front of you?
Tonight, Haunted House. Tomorrow, spin, soccer, baby Linda visit, Trick or Treating at the Wayside Commons. (We test-drove timothy_tim's TinTin hairdo last night and it went pretty well. The boy loves styling goo.)
