Saturday? Wait. Sunday always comes too late.

I guess it's kind of funny that I chose to watch The Omen (a movie about the coming of the antichrist in the form of a child) the night before (and on into) Easter morning.

That was with Emiline (Ripka) this past Saturday, as we were both home and lackluster (word of the month, might I add). Early that day I accompanied the rents to see Thank You for Smoking, which was real good. Go see it. Real good.

After last Saturday morning-- the last time I updated -- that afternoon involved me going home and being Jesus for our church's Palm Sunday services. Being Jesus involved: Wearing a Jesus wig, walking down the aisle and greeting people with a heartwarming smile and a "good morning" with an occasional "how are you?", and then singing The Lord's Prayer in a call and response fashion for the congregation. Overall? It was nice. People enjoyed it. Half the people, sitting in their pew when I approached them to shake their hand, thought either that: I wanted their bulletin, I wanted them to scoot over (maybe that was just them scooting out of fear), or that I was some lunatic. BUT once they noticed the heartwarming smile and touch of their hand...they smiled. Every one of 'em. Thus: it was nice.

You know, I don't eat meals alone anymore. Lunches I have with Kaja, Seth, Jake, or Jesse, and dinners I have with Jesse, Seth, Jake, Eric, Kyle, or Mary. Or a mixture of those. It's beautiful. I've been playing tennis lately with Jake and Christian. Mary and I went on a picnic last Wednesday and it was greatly grand. Kyle (and Jake sometimes) and I have been throwing the frisbee around on the rugby field pretty much every day now. Last Thursday night I hung out with Timmy, Will, and Spartacus (my pals The Afternow) -- as well as a good mix of other girls and a couple more awesome fellas -- at Will and Spartacus' flat for a game/jam night.
Anti-college-related college life rocks.

In worse news, my take-off wayfarers broke. But no fear, I've got a nice pair coming to me in le mail in maybe as little as two days. which would be grand. What would be MOST grand would be if they were show up on Tuesday; that way I could bring 'em to Open Mic and Spartacus could rock them. just like Spartacus.

Tuesday Night is guaranteed to rock. I'm really excited about my set; I'm really excited about hanging with The Afternow; and I'm excited most of all about anything and everything having to do with Mary. Including blowing her mind.

I was dreading finals and papers and all that stupid crap, but you know -- it's just stuff you have to do. As meaningless as it is, no one's going to leave you alone unless you get this ridiculous stuff done with. So, I reckon I'll just do it. Nike and whatnot.

Oh the possibilities of summer...and the life beyond.

Tell me, is it better to be worrisome, or to live life akuna matata?
