work ethic

I've decided that the best way to get through life with the least work is to be a smoker and a coffee drinker. Every day, without fail that I drive to one of my jobs I see this group of 10-15 people hanging out on the street smoking. They are about 200 yards from the door, so at least they are getting some exercise, but then 6 hours later when I'm going home I usually see that same group out smoking again. That's gotta be 1-2 hours of productivity lost per day. I've never been a smoker, I've never liked the smell of it, but it's an easy way to get away with working only 3/4 of the day or less.
And just now at my other job I see a group hanging out around the coffee machine waiting for it to finish ummm coffeeing? Percolating? Whatever you call it when you're waiting for coffee to finish boiling and then getting into the pot. They were there for at least 5 minutes and I'm sure that they will then have to sit around stirring sugar or creamer or whatever into the cups, then blowing on them to cool them off and then sipping at them. I also don't like coffee, but I guess I'm gonna have to take up smoking and drinking coffee to allow me to keep the level of slacking up. :)
