001. There and back again
Hi,
Not going to get into too much detail about why I created a new journal, then left it sitting empty for over five months, except to say that I needed some time to recover from 2013, and get over my fear of the future. Now, it's almost the end of the semester and I have only one, final set of exams left before I graduate. I still haven't quite come to terms with it, but I'd like to think I'm getting a little closer every day.
This semester has actually been pretty good, if not one of the busiest (*ahem* because I actually made the effort to go to all of my classes instead of hermiting in my room almost 24/7). It's also been the most rewarding, and I feel like I've learnt so much more in the past 13 weeks than the past three years combined, about things that don't revolve around my coursework.
Different members of my family came to visit at different times over the last three months, too, which was fun, and I miss them. ._. One of my cousins cut more than half of my hair off for the first time in my life, and I love it. :D So easy to maintain.

That's all for now. I don't know how present I'm actually going to be, because I change my mind all the time, but I figured making one post might be a good start.

Things on the horizon:
- If all goes well, I graduate in September. At first I flat-out refused to go to my ceremony, but idk somewhere along the way my mentality changed, so I'm making the effort to ensure I fulfil the requirements. Which means a lot of running around contacting different parts of student admin. Oh, and my sash is pink. #priorities Come time, I'll need to YouTube copious videos of "How to Wear a Graduation Gown and Sash", because even after watching a few acquaintances go through the same process over the last two years or so, I still have no clue.
- I'm 90% sure I'm going back to study straight after my final exams. I've wanted to do something in the music industry since I was maybe 15 (so a good 6 years), so I figured since I didn't apply for any graduate programs this year, I'll take a break and give a Sound degree a shot. If it doesn't work out, or I hate it, at least I tried.
- FQF. I haven't written anything since FtF ended in early April, and I really, really miss it, so I signed up today. I still have a few donation fics to write, which I will get to after exams - I promise I haven't forgotten, thank you for being so patient with me. >_<
- HSJ + KAT-TUN + KISUMAI ALBUMS NEXT MONTH!!!! ♥
