If those cookies expand a lot they should be quite a nice handful. They'll just have to bake a little longer. I've seen recipes without vanilla but would add some anyway. Too late now, so I'd recommend you put a couple dabs on your neck and wrists. It couldn't hurt.

I figure they'll just be sugar/butter cookies, which should be tasty as well.

I also realized that I miscounted--I yielded 16 cookies. Which is still not great, but better than 12.
