I didn't know spoilery was a word. Guess I'm not as clever as I thought I was.

p.s. I don't watch television much so I can't answer, although my sister has always loved that show. Maybe I'll call her and ask.

p.p.s. I got the book you recommended from the library yesterday.

I see you found Mr. Petty's Alice-esque video, as well! Or at least an image.

Hope you enjoy the book. Have you received the Beck cd?

I didn't find the video yet but a few hazy captures. I do love the two Alice books and am intrigued, but I wouldn't have thunk it (I think I got that expression from you ... or one like it).

No, the CD isn't in yet ... maybe today. Had a bad night. Going to run. Hope your day is a nice one.

My junior year, my high school put on Alice Through the Looking Glass. I was the 7 of Clubs, which, thankfully, was a non-speaking part. For the trial scene, I had to carry a chair up a flight of stairs. It was great fun to be part of the whole experience.

And, no, we do not have pictures. We went on vacation that summer and lost the camera. Someone might have them, somewhere....

Hope you enjoyed your run.

That was nice of you to do that for me. I looked for the video before but didn't find it after several pages.

I liked it a lot (the sound was a little poor) and thought they did a pretty good job of catching some of the more bizarre images from the story. I so love the huymor and feel of the books and have always been disappointed when seeing them adapted into movies.

I felt the same about Peter Pan until I saw the version that came out a couple of years ago. It was visually stunning and had so many subtle touches from the novel that I was amazed. They did change the Peter/Wendy relationship (big time) near the end but it didn't take away from the purity of the story too much, although I wish they hadn't done it.

The play sounds like fun. Since I played sports I didn't get to participate in drama in high school, although I was Cassius in an 8th grade play based on Julius Caesar and I was supposed to play Jonathan Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace. I wasn't very well liked by the administration anyway and was pretty much hampered by ( ... )
