I broke a contact lens tonight. So, I'm stuck wearing my glasses which I think I've had since the mid-90's. I'm never fashionable, but yeesh!

And yes, now I will be going to the eye doctor ASAP. Not how I wanted to take care of things, but oh well.

And now it's time to take my tired eyes to bed, so good night!

Ask people, "How do you like my new retro-glasses?"

The B-52's have a new album coming out in February. Maybe a beehive hairdo would work for you too?

Actually, I had one optometrist suggest wearing one contact so I wouldn't have to wear reading glasses over my contacts when reading. *lol* I still have contacts but almost never wear them. I'll have to check to see if they need to be hydrated.

I was teasing about the beehive. :-)

I'm stopping at Pearle tonight, it looks like they're having a sale on frames. I'll investigate.

It's okay with the glasses, despite a slight headache, as my eyes are not used to operating thusly. I suppose I could wear the contact lens I still have, and find an eyepatch!

I just had my haircut, so I don't have much beehive material. But maybe by February I will!

You're too funny!

Are you going to get a replacement lens? In Louisiana, you have to have a new eye-exam if your prescription is over a year old. What a racket!

Oh, yeah! More Love Shack time in February! I'll send you some "jukebox money". ;-)

Naw, I'm just gonna replace everything. Even if the contact prescription is still accurate, which I doubt, for hygiene's (Hi, Gene!) sake, I should get a new pair. Or two. And I'm going to ask if I should switch from hard to soft lenses. Told you I was overdue! (Which I just typed as "overude").

Knock a little louder, sugar!

Since I have only 1 eye, the box of lenses lasts me twice as long! LOL> i use the Accue-vue disposable, they leave my eyes feeling pretty good at the end of the day, but I have a way of keeping them fresher. I have 3 of the lil cases and I use a different lens each day which means I only wear a aprticular lens every 6th day which lets them A) soak longer and stay cleaner and B) stay fresher. The disposables SAY you can wear them up to 2 weeks, but If i put them in in the morning by late night I want them out as they feel a touch gummy. I cant stand to wear my glasses at all, the only time I DO, is after i get out of the shower and the lens are soaking, I'll slap em on to watch TV or something but it makes me crazy seeing blurry around the sides. I also investigated laser surgery but the eye doc said it would work fine for me BUT, he can all but promise in a few years after having it I'd need reading glasses, to which I say no thanks, I'll wear my contact TYVM. But I'm glad to see you're all fixed up again, Jeepers creepers, where DID ( ... )
