Hilary Swank, Neve Campbell, a young Ali McGraw, a young Brooke Adams. Sometimes I think they find any actress with dark hair and eyes and say, "you look like...." Though most of the time it's Hilary, Neve when she was more popular. I might change my name to Neve Swank or Hilary Campbell.

Yes, a Fossil that a friend gave me for my birthday last month.

I think it was a cup of tea at work (40 cents). If not that it was something food-related.

The holiday presents I had shipped to friends via Amazon.

A picture I stole from a friend's Flickr page. She knitted a dinosaur, and took a picture of little Han Solo and Princess Leia figurines defending themselves. I laughed so much when I saw it I'm surprised I didn't get the hiccups.

I'm a little embarrassed, but it was Guess Who, the Bernie Mac/Ashton Kutcher remake of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Didn't see the whole thing--does that still count?

As in finished? I think it was I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert.

I think both are possible, certainly a combination. How about intrigue at first sight?

Right now I'll push The Stone Diaries by Carol Shields.

I was just at my parents' this afternoon, which is where I grew up. But we lived elsewhere until I was about 3, and I probably haven't been there for at least 20 years. (We had friends in the building, but they moved, so we never went back. I don't think I'd remember anything about it anyway.)

History/Social Studies

Math. I was hot and cold with science, depending on what we were studying.

I don't like scary movies. I don't like happy endings tacked on for the sake of it. I prefer something realistic, though it doesn't have to be "the end". I like it when you have disagreements with people about how the movie ended--when it's left open to interpretation.
