Yup, this year still certainly is one of the very best I've ever had. Ever.
Watched Girls Just Want to Have Fun last night. What a wonderful movie. After at most four hours of sleep last night [no time to sleep when watching an 80s movie and texting Ryan/getting gear advice from him], I headed to 'home base' in the city, dropped off a bag, and headed to Second Cup where I met up with JV, had tea and then headed to Emery's place to record. Oh, by the way, on The Lost's album that they're recording [hopefully finishing tonight], I'm doing some vocals on a track.
I've never found singing that frustrating. It was good fun, don't get me wrong, but...well there's was one point where I couldn't remember my part worth beans and kinda started chewing on his roll of duct tape. You know it's bad when...
Anyhoo, tonight holds something low-key. Probably watching The Ringer and more Bradley Hathaway videos, since I couldn't afford to fly to Regina for Means' show. But dang that would've been heaps mad.
