So apparently cops in South Windsor have nothing better to do than pull people over for no reason. I have a pretty good internal radar detector and usually can sense when a cop is around, and tonight I sensed one heading back home towards Buckland Street. Im driving the speed limit and he just keeps following, and following, and following some more. OK...I'm not speeding, I'm DEFINITELY not drunk, all my lights are in working order, and I don't talk on my phone in the car. Of course he flashes his lights and I pull over in front of Evergreen Walk, seriously annoyed. He takes a million years to get out of the cruiser and comes over and tells me my registration is showing up as cancelled. I guess this is what SDub cops do when they are bored late at night..run people's plates for amusement. So I show him my license, registration and insurance card, and drive home. I guess it's cause my car was registered in mine AND my mom's name, and she's in VA. I dunno....all I know is I pay for my car, my registration, and my insurance. He must have needed the rush of pulling someone over for no reason before he hit the Dunkin Donuts up the street.
