Writer's Block: Trading Spaces
If you could be another person for a day, who would it be and why?
Well, as seemingly simple as it might be to answer this,
the truth is...
I don't know.
Perhaps I'd change with a member of Paul McCartney's band, so that I could hang out with my idol.
But of course, it wouldn't be ME hanging out with my idol. It would be Abe, or Rusty, or Wix or Brian. Not Megannn.
Maybe I'd change place with someone on a Christopher Guest movie set. Yes, improv is one of my great loves. But, while that would be a beautiful experience, it wouldn't be me acting..
Maybe I'd trade places with an astronaut. Seeing the Earth from space. Now, that would be cool. Floating, I love that.
Or, maybe, I'd trade places with a starving orphan, or an AIDS infected child in Africa, or a homeless person. Just so that I could better understand the terrible need of so many people in the world. Yes, being homeless, or starving or any of those wouldn't be terribly desirable. But, they would be good. Good to walk in someone else's shoes who the majority of the population of the world have trouble understanding.
