Okay, so, I have been in a long-term relationship(2 1/2 years). I haven't had any other sexual relations during this time(& we have not had sex[or anything] for around 2 months because of some emotional problems in the relationship).
Info: Yesterday i noticed a red spot(it looked a bit like a pimple, and being stupid, i pinched/poked at it a bit- and it kind of popped liked a pimple[little white dot of skin or something like you would get out of a pimple])today, it looks more like just a raised red spot, and its a little bit tender(i am a little itchy, but i just shaved and when the hair is growing in it always seems to itch a little). I am a little worried its herpes, only because i was reading up on it, and it says it looks like a blister, which in a way i guess it does- however, it hasnt split open, nothing is oozing from it, and the spot doesnt especially itch(any more than the usual bit from hair growing back in), and it definitely doesnt look like an open sore.
I was at the gyno. not even 1 month ago(pap test), and everything checked out fine... of corse i dont think that she checked for anything but the normal.
So questions:
1.) Since i havent done anything sexual(and have been recently looked at), is there a chance it is just a pimple, or possibly even a bite of some sort?
(however i know diseases can stay in your system without surfacing for months/years)
2.) Should i go back to the gyno. and have her take a look asap, or wait and see if it changes/goes away/gets worse?

I am stressed about it because, obviously i dont want to have a STD, especially one that isnt curable, and how would i tell my SO that i have an STD, which probably means he does too? :(

Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
